AZ 189

State Route 189, also known as Mariposa Road, is mainly a truck route to the Mexican border to bypass the congested crossing in downtown Nogales.

The SR 189 designated was originally used temporarily for the segment of US 89 between Bitter Springs and Page while it was under construction.

SR 189 is currently getting an interchange upgrade at I-19 to increase capacity with the addition of new overpasses and better exit ramps.
