State Route 187 runs from SR 387 near I-10 to SR 87. It is an alternate route of westbound I-10 to get to the southeast valley. SR 187 used to run all the way to Casa Grande, but SR 387 replaced that segment.
SR 187 is the shortest state highway in Arizona at just 5.4 miles. Between 2014 and 2022, the shortest state highway title was taken by SR 24 until it was extended from 1.4 miles to 6 miles.
